These figures exclude passengers on short trips at event days.
SCHOOL trips are for children with additional education needs and their teachers. Schools are not charged but most make a donation to the charity. Funded out-of-term trips for children (eg Aiming High for Disabled Children and Home Start) are included in this category.
ADULT trips are for residential homes, retirement villages, or organisations for the elderly or disabled. These runs are paid for. Passenger numbers included support staff. About 30% of passengers on these runs are support staff.
PRIVATE trips are those arranged as a way of fund-raising - mainly for family, work, social etc groups
